TOBB University of Economics and Technology has collaborated with World Learning and SIT Graduate Institute to offer the SIT TESOL Certificate Course in the Turkish capital. The SIT TESOL Certificate Course is designed by the US-based School for International Training (SIT) Graduate Institute, a renowned institution that has been preparing professionals in the field of language teacher education since 1964. The 180-hour course provides participants with needed skills and knowledge in Teaching English to Speakers of Other languages (TESOL). For teachers with no or little experience, the course provides instruction on learning theories, teaching methodology, and classroom management. For teachers with more experience, the course provides an excellent opportunity to reorient their teaching methodology and skills toward learner-centered practices.

Application Deadline for Participation in the Course:  April 24, 2026

One-to-one Interviews with Applicants: April 24 -  May 6, 2026

Enrollment Dates: April 25 - May 8, 2026

Course Dates:  June 29 - July 24, 2026

Course Fee: 1200 USD

**Please note that course orientation will take place on June 28^th, 2026 and course closure on July 24^th, 2026.

Each participant will be evaluated for their eligibility to take the course based on their application essays and interviews. Successful candidates will be asked to complete their enrollment. They should pay the course fee in full (1200 USD) by May 8, 2026. In the event that the course is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances or low enrollment, all fees will be refunded in full.
